Composition Each uncoated tablet contains mebendazole USP 500mg

THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS:
WERMOZIM 500 is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal infections caused by one or a combination of Enterobius vermicularis (pinworm), Trichuris trichiurid (whipworm), Ascaris lumbricoides (roundworms), Ancylostoma duodenale (hookworm), Necator americanus (hookworm), Strongyloidiasis stercoral is, Taenia spp (worm, lonely).

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Large Roundworm; Whipworm; Hookworm; Pinworm: Adults and Children older than 2 years: One Tablet (500mg) Given as a single dose. A single dose of WERMOZIM 500 may not be sufficient to cure infestations with hookworm and whipworm (Trichuris) although a substantial reduction in egg count can be expected.

SIDE EFFECT:
Stop using Wermozim 500 tablets and tell your doctor straight aways if you notice or suspect the following serious side effects. You may need urgent medical treatment.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
In persons who have shown sensitivity to mebendazole. Wermozim 500 Should not be given during pregnancy.
